Race to Witch Mountain is a 2009 American science fiction action-adventure film directed by Andy Fickman.  

The film stars Dwayne Johnson as Jack Bruno, a Las Vegas taxi driver who picks up two extraterrestrial siblings, Sara (AnnaSophia Robb) and Seth (Alexander Ludwig), disguised as teenagers. The siblings are on a mission to get to a place called Witch Mountain to activate a device that will save their home planet from a deadly attack. Bruno is pursued by government agents and an alien assassin named Siphon (Ciarán Hinds) who both want to capture the siblings for their own purposes. Bruno teams up with a UFO expert named Dr. Alex Friedman (Carla Gugino) to help the siblings get to Witch Mountain.

The film is a loose remake of the 1975 film Escape to Witch Mountain, which was itself based on a series of young adult novels by Alexander Key. Race to Witch Mountain was a box office success, grossing over $106 million worldwide. It received mixed reviews from critics, with some praising the action sequences and the performances of the cast, while others criticized the plot and the special effects.
